The Department of Logistics has started in the year 2019 with an apprenticeship based programme BBA Logistics in association with esteemed organization Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC). Later in the year 2020 we have included another apprenticeship based programme, BMS Degree in E-Commerce Operations in collaboration with LSC. We have also spread our wings & included two more apprenticeship based programmes in the year 2021, named as BBA Retail Operations in association with Retailers Association skill Council of India (RASCI) and BMS Agri Storage and Supply Chain Management in collaboration with LSC.
Our department prioritizes ongoing enhancement and relevance to the industry, aiming to develop highly skilled professionals who make meaningful contributions to the growth and efficiency of India logistics and retail sectors.
ABOUT LSC (Logistics Sector Skill Council)
Logistics Sector Skill Council, (LSC) a society registered under the Societies Registration act, 1860 is a not for profit organization set up by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and promoted by Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL) a Centre of Excellence in Logistics with the aim to develop skill trained as well as up-skill the workforce in India. Logistics Sector Skill Council is governed by its Governing council comprising eminent Captains of Industry. The Members of the Governing Council are representative of the 12 Sub Sectors
ABOUT RASCI (Retailers Association skill Council of India)
RASCI is a not-for-profit, independent public limited organisation established under Section 25 of the Companies Act. We have been funded by the Government of India along with Equity participation from Retailers Association of India, Reliance Retail Ltd., Future Retail India Ltd., Shoppers Stop Ltd., Globus Stores (P) Ltd., Trent Ltd., Infiniti Retail Ltd. and Connaught Plaza Restaurant (P) Ltd. to function as the Apex Skill Development Council for the Retail Industry.RASCI is a collaborative and comprehensive source of retail expertise and independent advice for industry, training organizations, educational institutions, certifying bodies, employees, students or jobseekers about skills development in the retail industry.
